It’s easily understandable why modern societies generate anxiety in children. Our social system combined with the tough economic climate make it undebatable that today’s life is stressful. But the difficult times we are going through along with the constant need to perform in modern societies seem to make stress both unavoidable and normal, which is why children and adolescents have few ways to precisely express their problems, let alone get rid of stress and anxiety. As a parent, there are signs that you need to be able to detect which could indicate something is wrong. Here are some of the symptoms suggesting that your child is suffering from anxiety:

1. Irritability or anger bursts that seem to come out of nowhere
2. Difficulty concentrating
3. Feeling of not being in control of themselves or their lives
4. Irrational fear that cannot be explained
5. Problems sleeping – insomnia
6. Dizziness
7. Problems swallowing
8. Stomach problems such as diarrhea that will not go away or gets worse when they have to go to an event, school, or new place
9. Tightness in their chest, sometimes developing into a really painful episode
10. Constant need to go to the bathroom
11. Uneasy feelings that are unfounded – such as constant worry that something is wrong
12. Abdominal problems and pains that aren’t associated with any other physical problem
13. Dry mouth
14. Worry that they, or loved ones, will die

Keep in mind that some worry as a teenager is normal, but excessive worry is not. You need to pay attention to how your child acts and reacts to new things, places, people and worries that come into their lives. While most teenagers are easily able to cope and deal with teenage anxiety or stress in their lives, others have a harder time dealing with it and will need help. If left untreated, teenage anxiety can develop into larger anxiety disorders later on and can plague your child throughout their life.

If you have reasons to believe that your child needs help, the first thing to do is to dedicate some of your time to dealing with the issue. Try and get your child to express what he/she feels as precisely as possible. In very young children, giving them an opportunity to draw could give you an idea

Are you one of the many people who suffer with the speech impediment known as stuttering or stammering? Does your stutter/stammer cause you to become very frustrated at times? Have you attended speech therapy in the past in the hope that it would help improve your speech? I have managed to successfully overcome my own stammer and as a career I now help other people to attain fluency. In this article, I write about the frustrations and emotions that people who stutter have to deal with. When I had a stutter, it created many different forms of emotions within me. I was actually ashamed of having this speech impediment and did not want to discuss the problem with anybody. My family, especially my parents, even to this day are unaware of most of the difficulties that stuttering caused me, during my time at school and in my late teens. Even when I had a really bad day at school, I would not talk about what had happened with my parents. I would instead just go to my bedroom and attempt to forget it. I also felt rather sorry for myself. I feel that I am a good human being; I am kind, I am honest, I am loyal, I am friendly and I am caring – I could therefore not understand why I had to have this most frustrating of speech impediments. There were many people in my class who in my opinion deserved to have the stutter much more than I did, however in truth I would not wish a stutter on anybody. Having a stutter made me feel less of a person than that of what I considered to be normal people. I was not able to socialise with the ease as what everybody else seemed to, and had many traumatic experiences in the classroom when attempting to

This deficiency can possibly cause light-headedness resulting to dizziness and shortness of breath. Due to this, a choking sensation usually occur making one feel unsteady and weak. This is due to the reaction when over-breathing takes place resulting to an abnormal low level of carbon dioxide going to the bloodstream. Muscle spasms will be felt in your hands and feet with tingling sensation on the fingertips and along the mouth lines.

There are many causes when a person is hyperventilating. One of the causes is when you take over dosage of medicines for headaches, stimulants and for pulmonary illnesses leading to asthma, COPD and pulmonary embolism wherein blood clotting takes place in the artery causing blockage. Infection in the vital organs could cause hyperventilation due to pneumonia wherein the lungs is affected that could lead to sepsis.

Heart failures are one of the severe causes of hyperventilation. This kind of condition is a state when the heart is unable to pump enough oxygen to the blood vessels that could lead to a serious heart attack to the sufferer.

It is said that only 25% of people believe in reincarnation. This of course doesn’t mean that it isn’t real, haven’t you ever discovered that you had a talent or inclination towards something and you had no idea as to why? I am sure that you know what it is I am talking about, there are certain things in our lives that we feel a strong connection to with little to no reason that we can come up with. The answer could simple be that it was something that was important to you in a past life. Unfortunately, its possible existence or validity is overlooked by many people and tends to be ignored. The opportunity to expand personally is missed out by that person or persons. To discover who they were in the past and who they are today, in the present. Ignoring information received on their past lives makes it easy to impede personal growth and to achieve success. As a matter of fact extensive research has shown that past life regression is a very powerful tool in helping people with emotional problems. A benefit of life regression, and one of the most important is the healing of trauma and its clearing. We can make one of two choice when encountering trauma. One try and change it or two face it head on and heal it. Talking of life regression and when faced with trauma there is an option of rescuing the past self to move forward now and where the trauma is viewed by a higher self, as a whole. Past life regression can also help in contacting our creative side. There isn’t a person out there that doesn’t have a mix of talents and attributes that help guide them through life towards certain choices over others. A past life regression can help you go back through one or more lives where we can bring the attribute or the past life to act as an inner guide. Karma means simply that what you do today or in the past (bad or good) will come back to you in the present. Past life regression can help you to redo an agreement or contract of the past with an individual involved at the time. However, you need to go back to the time of the creation of the original agreement, promise or contract

These are just some of the questions that I found myself asking after my 11th visit to the emergency room. The following is a list which will help you understand your personal symptoms and whether they are signs of an impending panic attack.

Heart Palpitations: This is when you feel that your heart is skipping beats. Your heart may be beating too fast, too slow, or may be fluttering. Then you may be having heart palpitations.

Dizziness: This can be felt in two ways. You can have a feeling of lightheadedness or you may feel that the surroundings are moving even when you are perfectly still (known as vertigo).

There can also be tingling sensations in the hands and feet. This can be quite annoying, since this is what you get when your foot falls “asleep.” This is generally not painful.

There is also an experience of chest pain or discomfort. Once you have a feeling like this, it is important that you be checked out by a medical
